Over 50's Life Cover

Any UK resident aged 50 – 80 can be covered. Please note only 1 person can be covered by the plan.

The Post Office® Over 50's Life Cover is provided by Aviva.

You can't alter it once it's started, but because the guaranteed cash sum paid on your death is fixed, it's wise to review your cover from time to time as inflation may affect what your guaranteed cash sum will be worth in the future. If you wanted to increase your guaranteed cash sum in the future, you can apply for an additional policy.

No - cover is guaranteed.

You choose the premium. The minimum premium is £7 a month. The maximum premium is £50 a month. You pay your premiums monthly by Direct Debit. Your life insurance amount is based on a number of factors. These include:
1. the premium you chose
2. your age
3. your sex
